Daily Deals: $10 Slim Leather Bifold RFID Blocking Wallet, 2TB PS5 SSD for $85, 512GB Switch Memory Card for $27, and More

Jul 09, 2023

Today's daily deals for Tuesday, July 25 include a slim leather men's bifold wallet with RFID blocking for only $10, 3 months of free Audible Premium Plus, a 2TB PS5 SSD for $85, a 512GB Switch memory card for $27, an electric standing desk for under $120, and more below.

This men's wallet is remarkable cheap: a combined 25% coupon that you can clip and a 50% off coupon code "HXU695FB" brings the price down from $39.99 to a measly $9.99. This slim, leather bifold features RFID blocking, an integrated money clip, and 12 slots for your cards and cash.

Amazon Prime Day might be over, but this deal runs through July 31. Amazon is offering one of the best subscription deals we're going to see for the entire month of July. Right now Amazon Prime members can get 3 free months of Audible Premium Plus membership. Only new subscribers are eligible. You'll need to log into your Amazon Prime account to see this deal. If you're not sure whether or not you're eligible, simply click on the link; if you see the promo then you're eligible and if you don't then you're not.

This Amazon Lightning Deal expires today. The Adata Premium SSD boasts transfer speeds of up to 6,100MB/s, which is more than fast enough to surpass the PS5's recommended minimum speed threshold of 5,500MB/s. Yes there are faster SSDs out there, but if your intention is to put this in your PS5, then that extra speed is worthless because you're bottlenecked by the stock PS5 SSD. Better to save that money and put it to better use. It also includes a thin aluminum heatspreader... too thin to be appropriately called a heatsink, but still enough for the PS5 console.

Amazon is offering a TEAMGROUP 512GB U3 A2 Micro SDXC card for a mere $26.99. The TEAMGROUP is compatible with virtually any device that accepts the Micro SDXC card standard. That includes the Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, ASUS ROG Ally, any recently released smartphone that supports expandable memory, GoPros, cameras and much more. Despite its low price, it's faster than your average Micro SDXC card. It has a U3 A2 rating (which is faster than the U1 A1 rating you'll find on, say, the SanDisk Ultra or any Switch branded memory card) and boasts transfer speeds of up to 160MB/s. That won't matter on a device that can't leverage such speeds (like the Switch), but it's good for the GoPro, smartphones, and 4k cameras.

This is the lowest price we've seen for an electric standing desk that even includes a 48"x24" desktop surface. The base supports up to a 176 pound load and has a lifting range of 28.3" to 46.5". The controller allows for up to three memory presets, which is a surprise since most standing desks we've seen for under $200 feature simple up-down controllers with no presets.

Dell is currently offering the Alienware x17 R2 17" gaming laptop equipped with an RTX 3080 TI GPU for only $1749.99. The Alienware x17 laptop combines powerful gaming prowess with a larger screen size in a still-manageable footprint,. The X-series gaming laptops are newer, thinner, and lighter redesigns of the traditional M-series laptops. These are the thinnest Alienware laptops ever and they compete in build quality, dimensions, and performance to other high-end ultra-thin laptops like the Razer Blade.

The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is still an awesome GPU that ample amounts of power to easily handle games on the display's 1080p resolution. That's great since the display can handle refresh rates of up to 480Hz. Compared to the newer generation RTX 4000 series GPUs, it's closest in performance to the RTX 4070.

Hisense recently released the updated 2023 model of its best selling U6 TV. The Hisense U6K 4K Mini-LED QLED ULED Google TV is currently available and on sale. It is a significant upgrade over the 2022 U6H thanks to the inclusion of a Mini-LED panel, which was previously only available on the U8 series. In addition to the full-array Mini-LED backlight with local dimming, the TV features quantum dot technology (QLED), wide color gamut (ULED), and Dolby Vision IQ.

Although the U6K makes for a solid gaming TV, its panel is limited to 60Hz refresh rate at 4K. What that means is that it will output 4K @ 60Hz through the PS5 or Xbox Series X console. The U6K does have other welcome gaming centric features like variable refresh rate and auto low latency mode.

Best Buy is offering some really big markdowns on their house brand Insignia F30 4K TVs equipped with Fire TV. Almost every size, from 50" all the way to 75", are on sale right now. Some of these sizes were discounted on Amazon Prime Day, but not all of them. If you're looking for a TV that offers native 4K resolution and a great smart TV interface at a bargain price, the F30 should be at the top of your list.
